About the Role:
Lead the delivery of Business Solutions that support the business and functional strategy. This includes managing the architecture of solutions and accountability for the delivery.
Build a team that has credibility across key stakeholders (including external partners) and can sustain a recognisable high performance

Supports the development of future functional and programme solutions outlined in functional roadmaps at senior levels of the organisation

Leads and drives the IT Strategy and Delivery team for their function to achieve great results at pace

Contributes to long-term strategic direction of the wider IT Strategy and Delivery team

Proactively engages business stakeholders to constantly improve customer experience

Mentors IT Strategy and Delivery team members; coaching to enable professional growth, enabling development opportunities, and demonstrating clear self-direction in delivering the functional agenda
Enabling positive IT Strategy and Delivery outcomes

Drive the development of technology solutions and strategy with market, product and client perspectives and knowledge. Through the architecture team and portfolio manager own the quality of all solutions against stakeholder and change management expectations.

Own the overall solution architecture to meet the business requirements on a given project or programme. Take accountability for delivery of functional project portfolio from solution design to delivery and support cross-functional projects and programmes

Support the approval of project resourcing requirements, utilising the most cost effective mix of resources

Ensure the delivery of the functional project portfolio supports agreed architectural principles and quality standards

Is responsible for adherence and development of efficient and effective IT processes related to the role
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
-
Key experience in indirectly managing architecture and delivery functions to define and deliver a multi-year functional agenda through a portfolio of projects

Has good understanding of finance strategy preferably in the Consumer Goods industry covering associated business principles, technology, key business processes and emerging trends.

Has proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within a complex organisation demonstrating empathy and strength of character

Experienced in managing teams of architecture and project delivery resources both internal and external (2-8)

A track record in leading the delivery of a project portfolio following a structured quality gate methodology including the development of business cases to support project approval
Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent

Proven experience in the delivery of project portfolios preferably Finance
-
Extensive business engagement and stakeholder management
