Location: Sidcup, Kent,
Salary or Day Rates and overtime rates: £8.53
Benefits: Bonus after 3 month probationary period

Job Summary:
To operate and Monitor all systems, including CCTV, within the Control Room in a professional and efficient manner. To ensure Integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained by compliance with quality standard and legislation, while preserving the rights of the individuals

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • To operate and monitor all systems by following the CCTV Code of Conduct and Company Procedures
  • Assisting in obtaining the British Standard 7958:2009
  • To liaise with the Police, other agencies, clients and member of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the system
  • To include all evidential records and witness statement to s standard acceptable to the rules of evidence
  • To record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format

  • Operate a range of remote monitoring, alarm calls and any carry out any other responsible duties allocated by management
  • Report any incidents that occur immediately to the Police (if necessary) and prepare a full report for Control Room Supervisor, Technical Services Director and Operations Director
  • To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations
  • To be aware of your responsibilities in terms of Health & Safety and company operational procedures
  • To Provide an efficient and courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
  • You must hold SIA CCTV License and Full UK Driving License and need to be flexible, dependable, have good IT and communication skills
  • You must be able to remain calm in emergency situations
