Database Developer Required: Working with one of UK's leading Retailers.
Our client has a mature, well managed and extensive Teradata Data Warehouse who are now looking to bring somebody into the team as Data Warehouse Developer to help add value to the data for all of the consumers of data within the business, including Buying, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll, HR, Stores and Field Staff.
As Data Warehouse Developer you will have the opportunity to build and deliver solutions to Business requirements and enable the business to get more from the Data Warehouse.
Essential Criteria:
•Solid understanding of relational database design and data warehousing methodologies with experience of Teradata and/or SQL Server preferable
•Proven track record in delivering value-added insights into data
•Experience of knowledge in any of the following area;•Data Warehousing
•Statistical analysis/ modelling
•Integration and ETL
•Data Mining
•Multi-dimensional data modelling
•Excellent communication skills
