Description

A Deployment Readiness and Communications Manager is needed for a Windows 10 project. The role is to ensure the business is ready for the change and that the Deployment Team has all the information they need in order to deploy to users with minimal disruption. In addition, creating and managing the T-Communication plan.

Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the migration lifecycle of multiple sites across the UK
• Working closely with business stakeholders and key contacts to ensure the satisfactory delivery of the solution
• Identifying any business critical applications and ensure that testing and migration activities mitigate the risks associated with those users/applications
• Ensuring ‘business rules’ and processes are adhered to
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure site Matrix is correct; adequate deployment staff allocated, site access issues, storage and special requirements captured
• Creating processes and tools to capture individual user information and analysis of data gathered
• Creating an overall Deployment Readiness Workstream Plan and processes
• Scoping of Readiness Tools (Data Repository and Readiness Template)
• Oversee the development of Readiness Tools
• Managing change control, risks and dependences
• Attending weekly checkpoint meetings and associated reporting (risks, issues etc)
• Management of activity tracker
• Creation of T-4 Communications Plan and associated Processes (mailbox management, invitation management including non-responders, reschedules, automated replies. Reporting and Escalation)
• Development of T-communications templates, key messages, preparatory tasks (variations of each will be dependent on device/deployment method)
• Manage and oversee the development of infomercial and eBook
• Set-up and mobilise Readiness & Communications Teams and induct team members

Essential
• A demonstrable track record in a similar role
• Ability to estimate business effort and resource requirements and ensure these are in place
• Management of stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships and productive networks that span business and programme teams
• Interest, encourage and support the business during the change, working to ensure that the project is meeting the needs of the business
• Agree a rollout schedule with the business ensuring it does not impact

Desirable
• PRINCE2/ITIL certification
• User adoption experience - training and communications management
