Our client is one of UK's leading retailers.

As eCommerce Analyst/ Developer a key focus will be to support and maintain functionality, service, and improvement of the online business. Areas of responsibility will include online/offline systems, solution integrations, software, infrastructure, and data management; supporting business systems, staff, and the customer.

The role will administrate and service the full range of the online framework, ranging from the website backend to internal business core systems.

This includes troubleshooting and technical maintenance of customer data, order flow/data, product/category/promotion data, store fulfilment/delivery problems, payment gateway issues, and customer communications. The role will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported bugs, data anomalies, and issues throughout all areas of the online operation. Additionally, the role will partake in cyclical website development and website deployment events.

This remit will work closely with the eCommerce business team, and will liaise with 3rd parties and systems integrators to resolve bugs and oversee technical incidents. They will produce ad-hoc reports and analyse technical performance as well as business throughput. They will also participate in major/seasonal trading changes with the business to ensure smooth rollouts.

Essential Skills
•eCommerce platform administration experience (ATG / hybris / IBM Websphere / Magento or similar) including management of cron jobs, index management, and error analysis.
•Experience with eCommerce CMS, business systems, and integrations
•Data transfer skills (WebDAV, FTP, WCF) (XML, IMPEX, JSON).
•Front end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) (beneficial).
•Ability to investigate/troubleshoot site performance issues via Google/Adobe analytics.
