Head of Digital

We are on the lookout for a Head of Digital to join a prominent London based business at a very exciting time. You will take ownership of the Digital Team (development team) and introduce technical and operational processes to maximise profitability with each project delivery.

You will take responsibility for a team of 20 technical staff (developers, QA, PMs, Bas), all with skill throughout the Microsoft stack – C#, ASP.Net, MVC and Content Management Systems (Sitecore / Umbraco).

You will have a background in .Net development and be comfortable using content management systems – in particular Sitecore and/or Umbraco.

Head of Digital responsibilities:

• Become a member of the Senior Management Team
• Report to the board about the operational status of projects
• Contribute to company roadmap strategic decisions that require technological input
• Management of the technical staff
• Define technical and strategic roles and their responsibilities
• Identify professional career paths / Staff training / Recruitment & interviewing
• Carry out assessments and reviews
• Champion Agile Scrum processes
• Architect integration solutions involving Azure Cloud services
• Improve code quality by enforcing SOLID development principles
• Working alongside CRM team to help to improve the integration process
• Contributing to the Sales process and help in the introduction of new products and opportunities, estimations, tendering documents and sales presentations
