Job Title: IT Portfolio Lead (Supply Chain)

Location: Solihull/Drayton (West Midlands)

Salary: Upto £70k + Company Car

Our client is on a journey to become the most creative, dynamic and trusted business in the world by 2020. As a household brand it is one of the UK's leading players in the FMCG market. As their organisation continues to grow, both in the UK and around the world, it’s critical that we find new ways to create added value for customers.

The Supply Chain organisation that the IT team is supporting, has launched a multi-year and vast investment program in GB and Ireland to take advantage of on-going business and prepare for future growth. New productions lines, new network execution strategy, automation in plants are example of projects IT is strongly contributing to deliver.

The new incumbent will manage some of these business change projects for IT. You will ensure that all projects under your responsibility are tracking on scope, on time and on budget. Depending on the size of the project, you could be asked to manage several projects at the same time. You will be coached by your peers to follow internal methods and processes in relation with project management and will report to a Business Solution Manager.

IT is looking for people who have the desire to work closely with Supply Chain and other IT functions. You will need to be a good relationship and stakeholder manager seeing benefits to the business in addition to a tracked record of projects you’ve managed personally.

We’re open to candidates coming from a range of sectors or industries – although closely aligned industries such as FMCG, Retail, Pharma etc would feel like a close fit. Nice to haves would also include supporting Supply Chain from an IT perspective and experience of SAP.

There will be some travel with the role, probably a day or two a week to some of our production sites in Rugby and Leeds or to our Head Office in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire.

Experience or Knowledge:

• Supply chain modules, PP and MM - 5 years experience.
• Knowledge around PM QM APO advantageous
• Support of large transformation projects
• Building Relationships – Stakeholders, Managers etc
