An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in a stunning hotel restaurant in Somerset cooking exemplary fine dining and bistro style food to the highest standard.

Purpose of this Junior Sous Chef role:-

Cook food to the highest level but within a relaxed and informal dining experience

Ability to cope with covers between 60-100 for each service plus fine dining 35 covers.

Implement your own taste and culinary skills within the team and help progress others.


For the role of Junior Sous Chef you need:

Previous experience at 1/3*** Rosette level dining.

Michelin experience not a requirement but would be an advantage.

Good team management skills and be able to work closely with the Sous Chef, Head Chef and other members of the team.

You will be required to work with the Sous Chef in the Head Chef's absence and have 2 set days off per week.

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £20-22k per year + exceptional in-house bonuses averaging 1-2k per annually. Uniforms provided.
