Job Description and Responsibilities:
The role of Opto-Electronics Engineer is within the manufacturing team. The role requires team work and cross company communication. Opto-Electronics Engineer contributes to all of company’s BRaMMS DPSS Laser technology engineering lines and ensures the timely production of quality laser controllers.
• Assembling and setting up of Laser Controller
• Assembling and setting up of electronical parts of Laser Head
• Day to day management of Electronics Assembly area
• Writing and updating manufacturing procedures
• Supporting Optical Assemblies in the Cleanroom
• Setting up and management of electronics testing facility
• Quality Control and Quality Management of controllers
Educational prerequisite:
Master’s Degree level or bachelor’s degree level in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering with 2+ years of experience in laser technology or/and electronics assembly industry.
Skills required:
Technical essential
• Basic circuit and PCB design experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have experience of working on a design from concept to solution
• Good soldering skills
• MatLab skills
Technical desirable
• Experience in PCB Layout
• Experience of FPGA/CLPD Firmware design VHDL, Verilog, Systems Verilog
• Experience in Embedded Software programming
• Digital, analogue and mixed circuit design experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards
• SciLab skills
