About the Role:

Proactively lead the architecture of IT Information solutions that support the business and functional strategies using cost effective technology and resource models.

Support a team of technical consultants to ensure credibility across a range of internal and external stakeholders and can sustainably achieve recognisable high performance standards.

Building IT credibility through capable leadership
• Collaborates and influences the shaping of information solutions at senior levels using knowledge, confidence and credibility
• Inspires and drives the Delivery team members to achieve great results at pace
• Evolves professionalism, technical and leadership skills of the team
• Contribute to long-term strategic direction of the wider IT Delivery and Strategy teams
• Accountability for aligned year 1 and 2 of functional roadmaps with Enterprise Architects
• Proactively engage business stakeholders to constantly improve customer experience
• Mentor team members; coaching to enable professional growth, enabling development opportunities, demonstrating clear self-direction and helping to create a quality relevant technology vision 

Enabling positive Solution Design & Delivery outcomes
• Evolve technology solutions with market, product and company perspectives and knowledge therefore owning the quality of all solutions against stakeholder and change management expectations.
• Provide the overall information solution architecture to meet the business requirements on a given project or programme. Support the delivery of requirement/inception to completion
• Ensure the architectural principles and quality standards are communicated, understood and enacted
• Owns delivery of business enhancements to deliver demonstrable marginal gains with pace
• Work with the relevant Business Data Owner and Data Architect to ensure quality and sustainability of solutions proposed
• Is responsible for adherence and development of efficient and effective IT processes related to the role

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in and information deployment and data management including business partnering and solution design
• Has a good understanding of the business strategy, associated business and technology architecture principles, key business processes and technology landscape/areas in given domain
• Has proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within an FMCG organisation and is able to influence using multiple approaches and using active listening
• Experienced in working with teams of solution delivery resources both internal and external
• A proven track record in leading significant solution designs across architecting and technical delivery disciplines

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified preferably with recognised architecture framework experience or qualification e.g TOGAF.
